Researh have shown that male are now able to take "pills" instead of using condoms or having an Vasectomies to prevent  unplanned pregnancies.

The new Technologies for male birth controll pill  called "Adjudin" or now looking upon,studies have shown that the pill will block sperm production, kill sperm or prevent sperms from  leaving the body, unlike a female birth controll pill supress ovulation, the male "pills" prevent men from making sperm. The male "pills" are actually inplants that release the hormone progestin, that also found in the female birth control pills. It comes with side effects similar to those experience by women taking hormonal contraceptives

The recovery of the pills

Studies have shown that men who take the hormones pill  to prevent sperm production could experience full fertility  recovery about four months after stopping the hormones. Testing has already been done in various countries  showing that  oral contraceptives for men are effective.

The "pill" is not the only hormonal method being tested on men.Hormonal patches,gels, and injection are all being investigated for their ability to make men temporarily infertile.  A more convenient  contraceptive gel is being developed. It requires men to rub the gel on their upper arms and  abdomen daily to prevent the production of sperm.

Some people are sceptical that effective male contraceptive are possible. The reason  their development  is  not publicised  more is because  many of these method  offer little  profit  potential  and  are  not  being pursued or plubicisied  by pharmaceutical  companies. Some  expermential male contraceptives promise to be safer, more effective, more convenient, and easier to reserve than any existing female methods.
