Waterford became the first semi-finalist in this season's ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup after Conrad White's brace carried the Portmore-based school to a 3-1 win over Camperdown at Jamaica College yesterday.

White netted both his goals in the first half, while Mark Walters netted the other for the winners seven minutes from time.

Ramone Waite scored for Camperdown in the 85th minute.
In the day's other game, Adrian Weir's 10th-minute header gave St Andrew Technical a 1-0 win over Wolmer's.

The result gave Waterford maximum nine points from their three matches and automatic qualification from Group Two.
Waterford's coach Flloyd Coke said his team was anxious to get the game over with and it showed in their performance.
"We didn't play poorly, but we did not play well either," he said.

However, he warned that they will be fully prepared when the semis come around.

"I am expecting to win the cup, so we will be working very hard this week to correct some of our mistakes," he added.

The game was only five minutes old when White calmed the Portmore side's nerves, with the first of his two goals.

Twenty minutes later, the midfielder added a second from the penalty spot after he was fouled by goalkeeper Mark Bryan inside the area.

However, after missing some good chances, Walters latched on to a pass from midfield and slotted past Bryan to put his team 3-0 up.

But Camperdown's White capitalised on a mix-up in the Waterford defence two minutes later to score a consolation on Peter Harrison in the Waterford goal.

The competition continues this afternoon with four games.
At Prison Oval, Bridgeport face Jamaica College and Excelsior go up against Eltham High, while at Jamaica College, Calabar take on Charlie Smith and Norman Manley match up against Kingston College.

Bridgeport on six points and Jamaica College on four points will battle for Group One honours, while Norman Manley (three points) hope to upstage leaders Kingston College (six points) and secure at least the second best place, although Excelsior, Eltham and Charlie Smith also have good chances of copping that honour.
