First Guinness sting road show for Clarendon
Some two weeks ago the world’s greatest one night reggae festival was launched at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. Come Friday, November 16, music lovers will be treated to the very first Guinness Sting road show for the season. The road show is slated to take place at Leiba’s Esso in May Pen, Clarendon beginning as early as 2:00 pm. Apart from giving Sting loyalists a taste of what is in store for the main event on December 26, the road shows will give prospective and emerging acts an opportunity to voice their talents at the Muss Buss competition and possibly earn a place to perform at Guinness Sting 2007.
The Muss Buss competition is a major part of the event this year and Sting promoters, Supreme Promotions, hope to unearth ripe and rich talents across the island. In addition to the competition, guest artistes including Busy Signal, Turbulence, Shane-O, Benito, Spice and local talent Face will be part of the entertainment for the road show.
The show will be emceed by Nuffy and Flames, and music will be provided by Area Code and Bodyguard.
