The Box - Flash-based widget
DATE: 01/24/2007 12:06:18 / MOOD: Other

Yeah this is another good site on the net. The Flash-based widget allows you to share all kinds of files: anything on your computer, plus music, photos and videos. Many of these file types can be viewed in the widget itself: you can view a photo, for instance, or play an MP3. They’ve also done a great job of making the widget viral: you can sign up within the embed itself, and even upload files. You can also transfer files between widgets: visit the MySpace page of ex-Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh and you can copy his music to your own widget, or just download it.

It’s similar, if fact, to MyFabrik Lite, the file hosting widget from Fabrik that’s essentially a YouTube player, MySpace slideshows and a MySpace music player all in one. There’s no doubt that MySpace users would love the utility of these widgets if they knew about them, so now the challenge is to attract users in a space where Photobucket and ImageShack handle most of the file hosting.

What is a blog - Wikipedia
DATE: 01/11/2007 16:18:37 / MOOD: other

yeah what is a blog..well i just found out my slef. The meaning from the wikipedia:

A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order.

Blogs often provide commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual although some focus on photographs (photoblog), sketchblog, videos (vlog), or audio (podcasting), and are part of a wider network of social media.

The term "blog" is derived from "Web log." "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

As of November 2006, blog search engine Technorati was tracking nearly 60 million blogs.

Dont know if that will make it any better for you ...but for me blogging is just typing pointless bits of information.
