Its interesting how it occurs

something happens

its not a little something, its big

it breaks your heart

and you dont want to do anything but cry

just when you need someone to be there for you

people start to turn away

they hold your gaze for that last second

before they walk out on you

who knows if they'll ever come back?

so you're heartbroken and alone

you turn around

as if to walk away from yourself, and there they are

there are your true friends

who just when you think you're all alone

you find out have been behind you all along

they will listen to you both night and day without ever making a fuss,

a friends love is unconditional and unique in every way,

 

and when you have problems a true friend will kneel with you and pray,
