Well the life of Di Big Bad Stylick started when we debut in early 1994 in Boston at the Caribbean Cultural Club (C.C.C). The saga started when Stylick and Crystall Movement rain dubplate from 10pm til 2 in the morning. Since then we've been taking the airwave by storm playing sounds like: KING ADDIES, BLACK CAT, TECHNIQUES, MEGA TECH and a host of other sounds. In early 1995 STYLICK debut in Jamaica and it was a total chaos when we enter Murrymount ST. ANN. We had a warm reception when we started playing dubplates ranging from: Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Ninja Man, Buju Banton, Mad Cobra, Luciano, Sanchez, Tony Curtis, Dennis Brown and a host of other artists. After playing twice at this lawn, we started a small tour where we played in numerous places. we started at 9miles St. ANN where we played BASS ODESSEY, once again the reception was very good, the following week we went to 4paths right outside May Pen CLERENDON, 2weeks later we were in south MANCHESTER where we player Miami's own DELTA FORCE. The crowd was in a frenzy when we started playing tune fi tune, artist fi artist and that is when we played 4 Bounty Killer on 1 riddim and di dance erupt. A few artists also came through to show their love. The following week the soundclash started in St ANDREW, where we shut down the city native sound SUPER ONE. The saga with STYLICK and BASS ODESSEY started where we played 4 back to back dates, the turnouts for all 4 dates were rewarding. The 1st dance was held in SIZZLA'S hometown August town, following that we went to Spanish Town where we were join by IMPRESSION & CITY ROCK. STYLICK was applauded for getting the biggest forward of the night with; Living Dangerously featuring Barrington Levy & Bounty Killer. The song was played 10 times due to the warm reception. The next two weeks we were back in St Ann, one of which we played in Vinnette's Lawn across the home of Jamaica's greatest legend BOB MARLEY. The next 2 weeks we were back in Spanish Town at Poinciana's Lawn which featured a host of artist like; Merciless, Little hero, Junior Kelly, General trees and more. We spend the next three weeks playing on Helshire Beach. We took a short rest from the music to attend to family business back in the United States, 2 months to the exact. During that time we got a call from England where we were called to play in CROYDON for 2 dates, an experience we would never forget. This was a once in a lifetime event. Back to the United States we go, where we were back to doing what we do. By this time we were now in ATLANTA GA. When we were there we got a call to play twice with Bass Odyssey at a club formally known as Sunrise Nightclub in Decatur. After this we went back to Jamaica to continue the journey. One more time STYLICK was back in MANCHESTER, where we had another full to capacity dance. The night almost turns tragic after 3 separate occasions. The sound caught fire due to bad electrical connections, after the dance was over we would have the most horrifying time of our life when our car overturn onto the top and slid into someone..s driveway in which we came out unharmed. After we got out and everyone was ok we called a taxi, and it was not over, on the way home the driver fell asleep and that almost cost us our life also. So after all is said a done we decided to chill out for a while and get out ting together. so now everything done selloff an di warr sound deh a road again, so if a sound fi mek it go so den because STYLICK a killing machine from dem time deh. We just want to say thanks to the real big man up stairs father GOD and all STYLICK friends and family around the world.
