The world is so full of critics today
That one cannot mind what people will say
For they'll talk if I am dirty
They'll talk if I am clean
They'll talk if I am fat
They'll talk if I am lean

If in my exams I pass, they'll say; "She thinks she's a powerful last
But fail my exams and what do I hear?
She's caused her poor mother many a tear

Change my suit evryday, "I think I am fine"
But change a suit once every oft
The remarks they'll give will soon tear off.

If dressed in the latest fashion, I stand at my gate
They'll say, "She thinks she's so mighty and great
But change my attire by one little
Oh! Her taste is woefully weak.

In my short span of life
I've learnt this one thing
The world you CANNOT please
For just as bears will stalk
SO PEOPLE WILL TALK! LET THEM TALK!
