ANOTHER TRAGEDY

05/06/2008 18:11:18 / other

for those who have read my previous blog ( rip junior) you will know that my friend lost her brother after a fatal stab wound to the heart in the early hours of friday last week (2 may). I am  still trying to understand how someone can find it s easy to take anothers life.

Today has shown me that it is not just the growing kinife culture that we should be worried about but also gun culture.

The local news this morning reported of a 26 yr old man in a critical condition in hospital after being shot in the head last night.

I couldnt believe what i was hearing, another act of violence that has left a man fighting for his life. What is happening in this world today?

Then later in the day i get the news....... the man that has been shot is a guy i have known for 17 years.

I havnt seen him for a while so i dont really know what he is involved in but i do know that what has happened is wrong.

This world we live in is so dangerous, if u go on a night out should u have to be worried that when u step out of a club someone is going to plunge a knife into u? or shoot u? no u shouldnt but that is the way this world is turning out.

Stay safe, stay out of any mix up, what else can we do?

Im praying for u my friend and hope they find who done this to u x x xx

I feel your pain, this must be hard to deal with especially that not only did you knew them, but you were also close to both persons.

I will continue to pray for both you and these families who have to face  such a terrible lost.

These are trying times, we don't have to know each other, to feel each other's pain.

I pray that God will contiue to keep you under his wings and that you will find strength and comfort

in his care.
